In addition to holding the same features as PVC SCH80, the chlorination degree of CPVC resin is higher. Additional chlorine can increase temperature resistance up to 100 degree Celsius. CPVC SCH 80 offers high density, abrasive resistance, lower combustion, and lower smoke. Besides, it can also limit flame diffusion and possess better higher temperature resistance.

2. The pressure resistance of Solvent Cemented Joint fittings and Spears SR (Stainless Steel Reinforced) fittings is approx. 60% of the pipe; the pressure resistance of standard thread fittings is 50% of the pipe.

1. PVC SCH80/CPVC SCH80 is not allowed in transferring the compressure air or gas.
2. Do not use compressed air or gas in testing any PVC or CPVC thermal plastics piping system; Do not apply the equipment that activated by air or gas to clean-up the system. The above actions will probably cause the burst of the piping system and even cause serious harm to humankind.
