Milestones
- In 1991 Supertung was founded in Taichung, Taiwan, serving as a distributor for worldwide well-known brands, including Durapipe from the United Kingdom, Colonial from the United States, Chemkor from Canada, and so on.
- In 1992 In response to customer service needs, our warehouse was moved from Pu-Li, Nantou to Taichung science-based industrial park and covered an area of 21348 square feet.
- In 1993 In response to domestic industries’ demands, besides supplying our products in various Engineering Corporation, and Water Treatment Corporation, our sales range expanded to power plants, hospitals, and end-users in Hsinchu science-based industrial park. Through putting efforts gradually, Supertung has gained positive reviews and encouragement from industries.
- In 1995 In order to improve customer service quality, Supertung set up offices and warehouses in Hsinchu and Tainan and served as the distributor for domestic valves simultaneously.
- In 1996 Supertung moved to a new office located in Taichung World Trade Information building and expanded management into five departments. Our annual sales turnover grew rapidly and made a breakthrough in 100,000,000 NTD. Five departments are as below:

- In 1997 In order to improve service efficiency, every department worked via a computer connection. By doing so, Supertung accelerated the operation of the quote, invoice, and shipment, and the process was controlled and analyzed effectively. We aimed at improving competitive advantage to pursue the sustainable operation.
- In 1998 In order to strengthen product diversification, besides distributing for PVC Schedule 80, CPVC Schedule 80, ABS, Clear PVC pipes, Supertung served as a distributor for ASAHI, Japan for its HP-PVC(Clean PVC), HT-PVC, HI-PVC, UPVC, PVDF, and so on materials and valves. By improving competition in products, Supertung Co., Ltd offered more choices for customers.
- In 2000 Supertung gained the distribution of authority of PVC Sch80, PVC Sch40, CPVC Sch80 pipes from Nanya, Taiwan.
- In 2000 Supertung gained the distribution of authority of IPEX PVC and CPVC ANSI pipes from Glynwed.
- In 2000 Supertung expanded into the Chinese market. Setting up a new branch and warehouse as Suzhou Industrial Park Supertung Commerce Co., Ltd. in Suzhou, China. Supertung officially expanded business overseas.
- In 2004 Supertung implemented E-management, every office and warehouse in Taiwan integrated works via a computer connection, accelerated operations, and enhanced overall completeness of the company to pursue stable growth.
- In 2004 Supertung set up a new branch in Shanghai, China to deepen into the core market in China.
- In 2005 Supertung gained the distribution of authority of PVC and PVC pipes, fittings, and valves from Spears and Harvel, United States.
- In 2007 Supertung set up offices and warehouses in Shenzhen, China to strengthen customer service and supply in the Chinese market.
- In 2016 The headquarter of Taiwan moved to a new office located in 8th St., Fu-Zhong, Hsi-Tun District, Taichung, in order to provide better services to all customers.
- In 2019 Supertung acts as the agent distributing FM PVC Duct products of Korea HYOJIN Engineering Co., Ltd. HYOJIN is the only company in the world which is certificated at one time for FM PVC 4910 and 4922, providing excellent chemical/flame resistance and more safety of superior duct/piping materials for high tech industries such as semiconductors, optoelectronic plants.
- In 2019 Supertung acts as the agent distributing metal valves of Japan OKM (Okumura Engineering Corp). OKM has specialized in manufacturing valves and acquiring many nation patents and certifications in Japan. Her products have been extensively applied in various industries such as power plant, chemical, energy, construction, marine, food, medicine, and water treatment, earn lots of appreciation and support.
- In 2019 Supertung acts as the agent distributing Germany SIMONA PP, PPs, PVDF, PE & ECTFED products. We have continuously cooperated with the tech-leader and global well-known manufacturer, providing high performance and high-quality plastic products for customers’ requirements.
- In 2019 Supertung acts as the agent of Taiwan D.P.S. (Delpha Plastics Co. Ltd.) - PVC Sch80 fittings. Enhancing the company's competitiveness with the additional superior quality products at reasonable prices.
- In 2021 We obtained trademark patent rights through trademark registration applications. We continued to develop our own brand, SUPERTUNG PVC SCH80 fittings and valves, investing more effort to stabilize product prices and demonstrate robust sales force, thereby establishing long-term competitive strength.
- In 2023 We expanded our product portfolio to include ASV STUBBE - safety valves (back pressure valves), pressure reducing valves, manual and automatic valves, chemical pumps, and flow meters; ROTHENBURGER - plastic pipe welding equipment; and OKFLON - ultra-pure materials such as PTFE, TFM, PFA, and PCTFE processed into sheets, rods, pipes, tanks, and chambers.
